As we have already mentioned, there are currently many programs designed to stress our computer. But, more than our computer, what they do is to stress each of the components separately. And the problem with these programs is precisely that: they are different programs, each one from a developer. This is quite inconvenient when checking the stability of our system, because we must locate each of the programs, download them, install them and, above all, know how to configure and use them for this purpose.
PassMark BurnInTest is a program that brings together 11 different tests that can be run simultaneously or separately. This is a great advantage for the user, since this way he has centralized all the tests he wants, in a single program.
The tests that includes PassMark BurnInTest are:
- 2D Graphics
- 3D Graphics
- Memory RAM
- Video Playback
- Optical Disk

To add or remove tests, we will click on the symbol that each test has in the upper right part: if the symbol is a “+”, we will add this test to the list, but if the symbol is a “-“, we will remove it from the list. list.
If we continue looking at the large icons on the home screen, we will see that at the bottom they have a slide bar. This bar will allow us to tell the program the intensity with which we want the test to run.
Which, by the way, the symbol of gear which is in the upper left will take us to the corresponding configuration screen for that specific test. These screens are the ones we have already seen in the previous section. Anyway, if you find it uncomfortable to handle these sliders, you can also access them through the drop-down menu «Configuration»And within the section«Test configuration and duty cycles«.
